  4.      There seems to be a lot of confusion lately about DATASTORM,
  5.      ProComm, and PROCOMM PLUS.  Are we "shareware"?  Are we
  6.      "commercial"?  What is PROCOMM PLUS?  etc., etc.

  8.      First, a little history:  DATASTORM has been a traditional
  9.      corporation since its conception.  It isn't a sideline or
  10.      part time job.  Some people have the misconception that
  11.      shareware products don't come from "real" companies.  I
  12.      assure you that we are indeed quite real.  We simply made
  13.      the decision to market our first product (ProComm) through
  14.      the shareware channels.

  16.      Our new product, PROCOMM PLUS continues in that tradition.
  17.      You will still be able to "try it before you buy it".  A
  18.      full working executable copy of PROCOMM PLUS (not a demo!)
  19.      will be available for downloading from most bulletin board
  20.      systems and information services around the country.  If
  21.      you decide PROCOMM PLUS is for you, the complete package
  22.      will be availble directly from DATASTORM or from your
  23.      local dealer.  The complete package includes the PROCOMM
  24.      PLUS program disk, supplemental disk with utility programs
  25.      and script files, a 300+ page comprehensive manual with
  26.      tutorial, voice line technical support, and more! The
  27.      complete package is only $75.00 and that includes shipping.

  29.      We will continue to distribute and support ProComm.  PROCOMM
  30.      PLUS is not a replacement for ProComm.  It is our solution
  31.      for meeting the user's needs for the next wave of data
  32.      communications.
